The Fashion Show this past weekend was AMAZING! I hope all of you were there. MUM raised over $3,500 for Hope and Help of Central Florida. Thanks for everyone’s support! You can see the pictures in the photos section of our website.

MUM is having a movie night this Wednesday at 7pm. We are watching the movie about Pedro (from the Real World). We rented out the movie theater at one of our members apartment complexes. Bring drinks and snacks to share. Park Central Apartments at the intersection of John Young Pkwy and Conroy. Tell the guard you are coming to see Mustafa. You can contact Mustafa at (407) 694-0137 if you need directions once you get to the apartment complex.

Also, dont forget. This coming weekend is the AIDS Walk Orlando. Every year MUM gets together and marches for this great event! We raise money to help and we walk to represent! We have friends that are affected or infected with this disease…. let’s make a difference. If you need a donation envelope, please let us know. Meet us there at 8:30 in front of the DJ Booth, Lake Eola, Downtown.

Hey Guys! Welcome to our new members who just signed up! We are having a meeting tonight for the first time ever at the Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Community Center of Central Florida. Rudy has some things planned and will be a lot of fun. The meeting starts at 7pm and the address for the Center is 946 N Mills Avenue Orlando Florida 32803.

We are also taking orders for the MuM T-Shirt pictured above. The cost is $12.00 and the order is going to be placed this Friday. So if you want a shirt, please bring your money to the meeting or let me know by email.

Ticket sales for the Fashion Show are going great. We have sold out of all VIP tickets and reserved over half of the regular tickets. We are in our final push, so if you don’t already, you need to get your tickets now. We also need volunteers for selling tickets at Parliament Hous this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you can help, please let Josh know.

Sorry for the late notice, but there will not be a meeting tonight as we are going to be planning events for the next meetings. Some things on the radar to keep in mind are:

• We need items for a silent auction at the fashion show. If you know of anyone or can get anything for the auctions, please let Jay or Josh know ASAP.
• Fashion Show, April 18th, 7:30pm. VIP tickets are sold out. General tickets are still available, but selling fast (only $10). More info >>
• Aids Walk is April 25th. Please be raising money to donate to Hope & Help. I have envelopes if you need one, just shoot me an email.
• Gay Days is June 2nd - June 8th. We are trying to raise funds to have a table at the expo like last year. We will be selling t-shirts (more info soon)
• MuM Camping trip will be June 27th & 28th.

Tomorrow will be history in the making as we hold our first meeting ever at Parliament House! It’s a special night so bring your friends! As a treat, we’ll have Ice Cream Sundae’s with delicious toppings! We’ve got lots of stuff going on so come out and show your support for MuM. We’ll also be selling MuM membership cards and tickets to the Fashion Show on April 18th.

Meeting starts at 7:30 in the Parliament House Disco Room.

It will be at Camden Orange Court Apartments at the corner of Colonial Drive and Orange Ave (668 N Orange Ave, 32801). Please bring some snacks. Tonight we were supposed to go Ice Skating, but the available options were no good. So we will be going to see Madea Goes to Jail instead. Same theater as last time (Premiere Cinema - inside the Fashion Square Mall by the old MuM house). Movie starts at 7:30 so be there a little earlier. Also, bring $8 if you want to buy a MuM card.

This Wednesday at 7pm, we will be meeting at Jay and Jorge’s house for some pre-MuM-tini fun. As many of you already know, this coming Saturday, the MuM boys will hold their first Mum-Tini night at Pulse Night club. To prepare for this we will be discussing all the details about the Membership Card program (you’ll get an exclusive look at the new card) as well as putting together some condom packets to hand out. We hope you can make it!

MuM Boys go Bowling

Bowling night was amazing, and despite some early dama, (thanks Rudy) we had a great time. 14 people showed up, including two new members!

Don’t forget that next week will be meeting to discuss MuM-tini night at Pulse and create condom packets to hand out.

UPDATE: The bowling alley location has changed!

We will going to Bowl America in Winter Park (1111 West Fairbanks Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789, 407-644 - 2244)
Meet us there at 7:30 pm.
We MAY have a few free tickets and will be first-come first-serve. Otherwise, games are $1.50 and shoe rental is about $4.

MuM is going bowling for this weeks meeting. The place is to be decided. Most bowling alley’s have leagues that bowl until 9pm so we are trying to locate one close to downtown that has bowling before 9pm. If we cannot find a better option, we will be going to Colonial Lanes which is located at 400 N. Primrose Dr. 32803 at 9pm. We need to know who is coming so we know how many lanes to reserve. Join us this Thursday at 7:30 pm for a Valentine’s Pot-Luck Dinner. It will be at Camden Orange Court Apartments at the corner of Colonial Drive and Orange Ave (668 N Orange Ave, 32801). We also have some Valentine’s games planned.

Please bring some REAL FOOD, something substantial. Not just desserts or chips.

I also need a few people to bring one of the following (for about 15 people):
- 1 person to bring drinks
- 1 person to bring ice and cups
- 1 person to bring plates, plasticware, and napkins
