Hey Guys,

It’s that time again! The bears are coming out of hibernation and that means it’s camping time… woof! We’re returning to Camp Dorothy since it’s a popular destination for all Central Floridians. If you haven’t been before, you’re definitely missing out. We play games, have a camp fire and roast some marshmallows. There’s a grill for anyone who wants to cook out. As always bring your beverage of choice. On Sunday we will start of by going somewhere for breakfast, then we will do an outdoor activity somewhere so make sure you bring some cash (see list below). Last time almost 30 people showed up. I hope everyone can make it this time!

Here’s what you should bring:
- Your own chair, otherwise you’ll be sitting on the ground!
- Tent
- Sleeping bag and blankets
- Food to grill or eat ahead of time
- Snacks
- Drinks
- Games
- Firewood
- Flashlights
- Bug Spray
- Smore’ supplies (marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate)
- Change of clothes, something that you can play paintball in
- Good pair of sneakers for Sunday in case we go rock climbing

Some options for Sunday’s activity include (vote in the poll below):
- ZoomAir $20-40
- Rock Climbing $20
- Paintball $30 (with 5 or more people)
- Canoeing $15 per canoe

It’s almost that time again for a MUM Camping Trip. This time we’re thinking of trying something different and want your opinion! In the past the MUM Camping Trips have been held at Camp Dorothy, which is one of the members’ back yards. While it works out really well, it’s time to try something different. A few members have mentioned Sawmill Campground which is about an hour and a half from Downtown Orlando. Take a look at their website and let me know what you think. Answer the poll below to let us know where you want to go camping next. If you know of any others, let us know as we’re open to all suggestions. We’re thinking of going around early to middle next month, before it gets too cold. The poll closes this Saturday (17th), so make sure to get your opinion in now!

As many of you already know, this Sunday is Orlando’s Pride Parade. Some of us are planning on being there around 12:30 pm and will head over to Central to watch the parade around 3pm. We’ll be wearing our black MUM Shirts. If you still need one, I have a few mediums and larges left. Call me at 407-602-7751 if you need one or to meet up on Sunday.

Hey Guys! The MUM “Camping Trip” is just two weeks away. Are you ready?!

When: Saturday, June 27th 1:00 pm - Sunday June 28th - 10:00 am
Where: Camp Dorothy - 249 Lake View Dr. Sanford, FL 32773

All new and old friends are welcome! Be sure to bring food and your favorite drinks (yes, even alcohol). A grill will be on site. Make sure you have a tent or sleeping bag because we will be sleeping outdoors by the lake. Also be prepared to get wet because there is a pool and there will be some activities that might get messy. Lets just say , have on old white T-shirt on hand. There will be a fight of somekind. If anyone is kind enough to bring some firewood that would be greatly appreciated as well. Let’s start a fire, make smores, talk and laugh. The following day we will have breakfast somewhere and then head over to Wekiva Springs.

Hey Guys! MuM has been asked to man the dunk tank at Parliament House this Saturday evening (May 9th). We need a solid list of people who will be there FOR SURE… you are not obligated to stay the entire time. However, a strong showing is needed to make this event a success.

We need to be there at 8pm to help set up… the event will last until past midnight. MuM shirt is optional.

The Fashion Show this past weekend was AMAZING! I hope all of you were there. MUM raised over $3,500 for Hope and Help of Central Florida. Thanks for everyone’s support! You can see the pictures in the photos section of our website.

MUM is having a movie night this Wednesday at 7pm. We are watching the movie about Pedro (from the Real World). We rented out the movie theater at one of our members apartment complexes. Bring drinks and snacks to share. Park Central Apartments at the intersection of John Young Pkwy and Conroy. Tell the guard you are coming to see Mustafa. You can contact Mustafa at (407) 694-0137 if you need directions once you get to the apartment complex.

Also, dont forget. This coming weekend is the AIDS Walk Orlando. Every year MUM gets together and marches for this great event! We raise money to help and we walk to represent! We have friends that are affected or infected with this disease…. let’s make a difference. If you need a donation envelope, please let us know. Meet us there at 8:30 in front of the DJ Booth, Lake Eola, Downtown.

Hey Guys! Don’t forget this Saturday (7th) at Parliament House is Mardi Gras. Some of you volunteered to be in the parade, so here’s the info you need to know!

• You MUST be there by 11PM
• Please wear all black or at least a black shirt

It’s time for Mardi Gras and Parliament House’s annual celebration on March 7th. They have asked MuM for volunteers to be in the parade. We need 8-20 guys to volunteer who can be there by 11pm.
